Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Day shift), rotating day off; Call: one primary weekday and one backup weekday/month; one weekend every 6 weeks (alternating between primary and backup)

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures with precision and patient-centered care
• Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment to ensure high-quality imaging
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control throughout procedures
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in EPIC and PACS
• Participate in the on-call rotation and provide reliable coverage when scheduled
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers to plan and execute complex cases
• Support a teaching environment by assisting with training and mentoring when applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (required)
• ARRT certification (required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Proven experience operating Siemens imaging equipment (required)
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (preferred)
• Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated venous access skills; liver biopsy experience is a plus
• Willingness to participate in the described call schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Interventional radiology procedures: angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, TIPS and more
• Siemens imaging systems and PACS operation
• EPIC electronic medical record charting and documentation
• Central venous access/port placement and PICC care and maintenance
• Strong patient safety practices, sterile technique, and contrast handling
• Experience in outpatient and ICU procedure settings
