Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition to the nursing team
• Support safe resident transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the resident chart or EHR
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents safe
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver personalized care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• T-CNA certification if required by the facility
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work the full assignment schedule (Sun–Sat shifts as listed)
• Comfortable with a 14-week travel assignment and on-site orientation
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADLs: bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and mobility assistance
• Proficient with taking/recording vital signs and observing resident condition
• Basic charting and EHR documentation skills
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care and family interactions
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate changes to the nursing team
