Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations of all body parts for accurate interpretation
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment and maintain strict radiation protection practices
• Prepare and administer contrast using automatic injector and adjust protocols by patient age
• Assist with interventional and invasive procedures, including sterile technique and venipuncture support
• Maintain patient records, imaging files, and department quality assurance documentation
• Perform daily and weekly quality control and assist with equipment care and inventory
• Collaborate with physicians and teleradiology teams for image transmission and consults
• Rotate across modalities as needed and cover lead responsibilities in absence of supervisor

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography required
• Clinical competency expected within 3 months of hire and maintained every three years
• Able to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality
• Willingness to learn and work across modalities (XR, CT, MRI, Mammography) as needed
• Comfortable with on-call duties and responsive reporting within 20 minutes
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• Current ARRT in Radiography (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in CT and X-ray imaging and radiation protection
• Contrast administration and automatic injector operation
• Quality assurance and quality control (QC) procedures
• Teleradiology transmission and interventional radiology support
• Sterile technique, venipuncture, and patient transfer
• Ability to adjust protocols for pediatric and geriatric patients
