Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care during night shifts for residents at Cedar Ridge Center
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments accurately following facility policies
Document patient care clearly and promptly in the electronic health record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
Support patients and families with clear communication and empathetic care

Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse license in Maine or eligibility to obtain one
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Prior clinical experience in a facility setting preferred
Strong clinical judgment, reliable night-shift availability, and excellent communication skills
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy familiarity
Accurate charting and electronic health record (EHR) use
Infection control and safety protocols
Team collaboration and clear patient/family communication
Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
