Shift Type: 4x10 day shifts (block schedule), 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; day shift with required on-call rotation: 1-2 weeknights per six weeks and 1 weekend on-call per six weeks

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate independently for a variety of surgical specialties including total joint, robotic general and urology, laparoscopic general, gynecologic and colorectal cases
• Coordinate and schedule surgical cases when on call, ensuring efficient OR flow
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control practices throughout procedures
• Administer and manage blood and blood products safely, including use of cell saver when required
• Handle, label and track surgical specimens accurately to protect patient safety
• Perform universal protocol (time out) and other safety checks to prevent errors
• Document care comprehensively in Epic and contribute to accurate computerized records
• Apply radiation, laser and fire safety measures in the OR environment
• Provide compassionate perioperative patient care including wound management and urinary catheterization
• Step in as a dependable team member during call rotations and occasional weekend coverage

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (ability to work in Washington state expected)
• Minimum 2 years of perioperative/OR nursing experience
• Competency circulating in total joints, robotic general/urologic, laparoscopic general, gynecology and colorectal cases
• Epic charting experience (required)
• ACLS and BLS preferred
• Familiarity with cell saver, electrosurgical units and specialty OR equipment
• Knowledge of malignant hyperthermia management and other emergency protocols preferred
