Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate hemodynamic monitoring during cardiac and interventional procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field and scrub for a variety of Cath Lab, IR and EP procedures
• Perform EKG lead placement and continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures, structural heart cases, and device implants
• Support neurointervention and stroke thrombectomy procedures when required
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment including Philips X-ray systems and device-specific tools
• Float to IR and EP areas as needed to meet facility needs while maintaining quality patient care
• Participate in orientation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RCIS or ARRT (R) required for Cath Lab; ARRT (R) acceptable alternative to RCIS
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Cath Lab/EP/IR/vascular experience
• Demonstrated experience with EP, IR and vascular procedures required; neuro experience preferred
• Ability to work scheduled on-call rotations and every 4th weekend on-call
• Willingness to float to IR and EP within your scope of practice
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)

Education

• RCIS certification or ARRT (R) required for Cath Lab roles
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant procedure experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac Cath Lab procedures and hemodynamic monitoring
• Electrophysiology (EP) and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedural support
• Vascular interventions, thrombectomy and atherectomy device familiarity
• Scrub and sterile technique, venous access and temporary LVAD support awareness
• Rhythm interpretation and EKG lead placement
• Experience with Philips X-Ray systems, McKesson Cath Lab, MacLab/Cardio Lab and Epic charting
• Strong patient monitoring and peri-procedural safety practices
