Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and process tissue specimens for microscopic examination
Perform routine and special staining techniques on slides
Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of specimens
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
Adhere to quality control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Certified Histology Technician (HT) by ASCP or AMT required
Previous experience in histology or pathology lab preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in microtomy, embedding, and staining techniques
Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and time management skills
