Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies
• Operate and optimize ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Document findings clearly and deliver timely reports to the clinical team
• Work independently to manage your own caseload and prioritize patient needs
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, coordinating repairs or calibration as needed
• Communicate compassionately with patients and providers to support excellent care

Qualifications

• Certified ECHO/Vascular technologist required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is mandatory
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a solo workload
• Comfortable performing both echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies
• Excellent communication skills for working with patients and the care team
• Current state licensure or registration if required by Hawaii (obtain as needed)

Education

• RVT certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in echocardiography techniques and vascular ultrasound exams
• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and imaging principles
• Skilled at image acquisition, optimization, and basic interpretation
• Clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health record workflow
• Ability to prioritize studies and manage time in a variable schedule environment
• Patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills
