Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic and invasive CT examinations across adult and pediatric populations
• Respond rapidly and competently to ED trauma and stroke imaging needs—your work supports urgent clinical decisions
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment (GE Optima, GE EVO, GE Revolution) and Medrad injectors safely and effectively
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure accurate image acquisition and timely reporting
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS
• Provide compassionate patient care, including venipuncture when required, and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards at all times
• Participate in shift handoffs and help the team maintain consistent, high-quality service during nights and weekends

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• Minimum 2+ years of CT technologist experience (documented clinical experience required)
• Proven experience with diagnostic and invasive CT, ED trauma, and stroke imaging
• Familiarity with pediatric, neuro, MSK and cardiac CT procedures (preferred)
• Experience with GE CT equipment and Medrad injectors is a plus
• Comfortable using Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS for image management and reporting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols for diagnostic, invasive, trauma, stroke, cardiac, pediatric and neuro studies
• Skilled in patient positioning, contrast administration, and venipuncture techniques
• Experience with GE Optima, GE EVO and GE Revolution CT scanners
• Proficient using Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS workflows
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail for image quality, radiation safety, and accurate documentation
