Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and ensure excellent image acquisition for accurate diagnoses
• Operate CT equipment safely and follow manufacturer and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients with compassion, explaining procedures clearly
• Ensure radiation safety and follow ALARA principles to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely patient care
• Maintain and manage imaging records in PACS/DICOM with attention to detail
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate when needed to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience (as indicated in the job posting)
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred or equivalent CT credential
• State radiologic technologist licensure (Tennessee or compact licensure where applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong patient care skills and ability to work independently on night shifts
• Familiarity with CT protocols, contrast administration, and safety procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging equipment and cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose reduction techniques
• Experience with PACS and DICOM image management
• Ability to follow CT protocols and adapt for patient needs
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary teamwork
