Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support their daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility to preserve dignity
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
Accurately document care provided and observations in the resident record
Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses, therapists and team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (active in the state of practice)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED
Active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety practices
Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
Good teamwork, time management and empathetic communication
Comfort lifting, transferring and positioning residents safely
