Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and ambulation, keeping mobility and dignity in mind
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support high-quality care
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through clear, kind communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Recent clinical experience as a CNA is a plus
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable with patient bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting assistance
Measuring and recording vital signs with accuracy
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Infection prevention and control practices
Teamwork, empathy, and clear communication with patients and staff
