Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; exact days and start/end times to be confirmed with scheduling (schedule to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support daily needs
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
Monitor and record vital signs and report any concerns to nursing staff
Maintain accurate documentation of care and patient status
Support infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must be active in Pennsylvania
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Reliable, punctual, and able to pass facility background and health screenings

Education

Completion of an approved CNA training program
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Good infection control and safety practices
Clear communication with nursing staff, residents, and families
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Empathy, patience, and professionalism in a clinical setting
