Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor resident condition and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support a safe, clean and respectful environment for residents
Assist with mobility, transfers and personal care while preserving dignity
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Participate in team huddles and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential valid in Connecticut
Comfortable working in a long term care or assisted living setting
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Dependable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care

Education

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic resident care and infection control practices
Ability to safely assist with transfers and ambulation
Accurate documentation and observation skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with facility policies and resident rights
