Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers and positioning to promote patient comfort and prevent injury
Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe patient environment
Collaborate with nurses and care team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Active/valid CNA certification in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain)
Comfort working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Background check and health screening clearance as required by facility

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with basic medical terminology and patient charting
Infection control, safety protocols, and proper use of PPE
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
