Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guarantee (specific days determined upon assignment)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and personalized care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Support residents' dignity and independence through respectful interactions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Completed COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience preferred
Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients up to 50 lbs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside manner
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to use electronic health records (EHR) systems
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a positive attitude
Effective time management and organizational skills
