Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and assist patients with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility while preserving dignity
Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state certification required; Pennsylvania certification preferred)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Comfortable assisting with transfers and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Previous long-term care experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear documentation and communication skills
Teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude
