Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, and lab tests within your MA certification scope
• Assist physicians during examinations by taking vital signs and supporting procedures
• Keep exam rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies
• Handle patient phone calls and provide clear instructions as directed by the physician
• Maintain accurate medical records including referrals, lab slips, and documentation
• Help patients move safely to and from exam rooms and prepare them for procedures
• Support nursing procedures and work collaboratively as a flexible team member

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with active certification
• At least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or special training
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly

Education

• At least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or special training for Medical Assistants
