Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac and EP procedures
• Circulate in the Cath/Hybrid Cath Lab, ensuring aseptic technique and smooth procedural flow
• Perform thorough pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments and handoffs using ANA standards
• Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to anticipate equipment and staffing needs during cases
• Monitor patients closely post-procedure, recognizing and responding to complications rapidly
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations, recovery plans, and follow-up
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record and communicate changes to the team

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or Compact RN license eligibility (required)
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications (required)
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience in Cath Lab and EP (required)
• Experience circulating in Cath Lab / Hybrid Cath Lab and providing pre/intra/post procedural care
• Vascular and/or CVOR experience is a plus
• Flu vaccination required (seasonal mandate: Oct 1 - Apr 1; no declinations accepted)

Knowledge & Skills

• EP procedures and Cath Lab workflows
• Pre/intra/post procedural nursing and patient assessment
• ANA Standards of Nursing Practice and peri-procedural documentation
• Circulating role familiarity, case coordination, and sterile field management
• Ability to work in a smaller hospital setting with advanced hybrid Cath Lab technology
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity procedural environments
