Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Cath Lab team during diagnostic procedures, PCI, EP studies, device implants, and structural heart cases
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring sterile technique and readiness
• Monitor patient status vigilantly during procedures and respond calmly and competently to changes
• Document procedures, patient status, and interventions accurately and promptly
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent cases as required
• Complete required competency exams and skills checklists to maintain practice readiness

Qualifications

• Active RN license (will undergo Nursys license/certificate verification)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Cath lab nursing experience with diagnostic cases, PCI, EP, cardiac device procedures, and some structural heart exposure
• Willingness to participate in call rotations
• Ability to complete employer-required screenings: Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, Prime Specialty Exam
• Must meet facility health requirements (fit test, COVID-19 vaccine, TB, MMR, Hep B, influenza vaccine, varicella, Tdap, drug screen and related checks)
