Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert cardiovascular surgical care including aneurysm repair, CABG, and heart valve replacement
Perform hospital rounding and step in for surgery when needed
Collaborate with the care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Document all encounters accurately in the EPIC system

Qualifications

Board certified in Cardiovascular Surgery
Fellowship trained in cardiovascular surgery
Active South Carolina medical license (must already hold, no pending applications)
Current ACLS certification
Clean professional background

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Cardiovascular Surgery, Aneurysm Repair, CABG, and Heart Valve Replacement
Strong clinical judgment for complex cardiothoracic cases
Comfortable working independently during on-call periods
Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records
