Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub for cardiac catheterization and EP procedures including LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacer and ICD placements
• Provide vigilant patient monitoring during procedures and in holding bays, including right heart monitoring when needed
• Collaborate with physicians and the cath lab team to ensure smooth procedural flow and high-quality patient care
• Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment such as Philips fluoro systems, Mac Lab and CardioLab
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately in Meditech
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly when called to support emergent cases
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by being engaged, flexible, and ready to help the team

Qualifications

• ACLS certification (required)
• 1-2 years of Cath Lab experience (explicitly required)
• Proven scrub and monitoring skills and experience in an interventional setting
• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and able to be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
• Experience with EP/Structural Heart and right heart monitoring is a strong plus
• Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a high-functioning team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in scrub techniques and intra-procedural monitoring
• Experience with Philips fluoroscopy systems, Mac Lab and CardioLab
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR for documentation
• Knowledge of cath lab procedures (LHC, RHC, EP ablations, pacers, ICDs, TEEs, tilt table tests)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care skills
