Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on the 6P unit with an emphasis on vascular access
• Perform vascular access procedures and maintenance with precision and safety
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate care plans
• Monitor patients’ clinical status, document findings, and escalate concerns promptly
• Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and vascular access maintenance
• Contribute to unit quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with policies

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience (as stated in the job posting)
• Current state licensure or certification as required for your role (please have active credentials)
• Demonstrated experience with vascular access (VA) preferred given the unit focus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Up-to-date BLS (and other certifications as required by facility)

• Vascular access procedures and catheter care
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Clinical documentation and electronic health record familiarity
• Infection control best practices
• Effective interdisciplinary communication
