Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts, 40 hours per week with on-call rotation and floating to other units

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in Abdomen, GYN, OB, Neonatal, Superficial Structures, and Vascular
Assist with procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative cases
Operate Canon i700 ultrasound equipment and utilize Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
Evaluate normal and pathological findings, document images, and communicate results to physicians
Maintain high standards of patient care and safety during all exams

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of full-time sonography experience in an acute hospital setting
Holding ARDMS certifications in Abdomen (AB), OB/GYN (OB), and Vascular (RVT)
Active BLS certification from AHA required
Willingness to float to other units and take on-call duties

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Abdomen, GYN, OB, Neonatal, Superficial structures, and Vascular ultrasound
Proficient in performing and interpreting duplex studies and vascular exams
Skilled in using Canon i700, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS
Strong ability to work independently and in a team, adapt to variable schedules
