Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields for cardiac and general OR procedures
Assist surgeons during a variety of cases including cardiac, ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, urology, general, and gyn
Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
Maintain inventory of supplies and anticipate surgeon needs

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
BLS certification required
Experience in cardiac scrubbing strongly preferred
Ability to scrub multiple specialties including ortho, neuro, vascular, and robotics

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac surgical procedures
Proficiency in a wide range of surgical specialties
Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control
Strong communication and teamwork skills
