Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Complete patient documentation
Contact insurance companies regarding benefits
Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions
Provide education to staff
Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff
Collaborate with healthcare providers
Clean treatment rooms
Provide reminder calls to patients
Aid patients and families in navigating the hospital

Qualifications

Masters degree in speech pathology from an accredited program
Eligible for Speech-Language Pathologist license to practice in the state of WI
Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license
Must maintain a valid, current driver's license
Must maintain BLS certification
1+ years of related work experience

Education

Professional degree in speech language pathology required
Masters degree in speech pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Intermediate proficiency with computers
Strong assessment and planning skills
Strong quantitative and analytical competency
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
