Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care during night shifts, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics
Assist with feeding, hygiene, and comfort measures while preserving patient dignity
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care
Accurately complete required charts and electronic documentation on each shift

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California
Valid BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly
Successful completion of background check and TB screening as required
Comfortable working night shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of basic patient care and safety procedures
Ability to perform vital signs, ADL assistance, and basic nursing tasks
Proficient documentation skills and attention to detail
Calm under pressure with good critical observation skills
Respectful interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
