Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Various 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours), including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department and Trauma center
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage trauma, burns, and critical patients
Perform triage, assessment, and interventions for a diverse patient population
Maintain competency in ACLS, PALS, and BLS protocols
Float between multiple facilities as needed, including Main Campus, Westgate, and free-standing ERs

Qualifications

Must have at least 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience
Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC and ATCN preferred
Minimum 2 years ER experience
Proficiency in Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in emergency settings
Ability to read telemetry strips
Competence in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes (SIMs lab pass/fail)
Excellent communication and teamwork
Comfortable floating between units up to 30 minutes apart
