Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients
Masterfully operate advanced medical equipment for patients with central lines, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, arterial lines, multiple IVs, and short-term ventilation support
Provide skilled assessments and interventions for diverse cases including pediatrics, post-PCI care, CHF, COPD, sepsis, and surgical services
Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding patient outcomes
Act as a clinical leader, precepting staff and guiding RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support teams from admission to discharge

Qualifications

Current State of Montana RN Licensure
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required or obtained within 6 months of hire
EPNC, TNCC certifications preferred
Practice experience in advanced Medical/Surgical Unit and recent Critical Care or Progressive Care Nursing

Education

Degree from a Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
Proficiency with multiple IV pumps and advanced medical equipment including A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support
Strong advanced nursing principles and procedures
Pediatric experience preferred
Ability to assess and implement policies with minimal supervision
