Occupational Therapist – UHC Staffing

Occupational Therapist

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable schedule, 5-day work week with possible 1 weekend day (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday)

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver professional occupational therapy services across SNF, inpatient, and outpatient settings
Help patients achieve their highest level of independence and function
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support holistic patient care
Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient population

Qualifications

Active Hawaii Occupational Therapy license (or must apply upon acceptance)
BLS certification required
Minimum 6 months experience in Acute, SNF, Rehab Hospital, or Outpatient settings with adults
At least 1 year of overall experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
Experience with a variety of adult patient populations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with EMR systems (Meditech experience a plus)
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and patient needs
