Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night Shift - 13-week contract - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation - Will be required to work various shift lengths and various days. Must be flexible. No guarantee of hours. No guarantee of shift preference.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on the Medical Unit
Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to deliver excellent outcomes
Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes to support patient needs
Float to Laulima Unit or Cardiovascular Unit as needed to support the broader team
Maintain flexibility with various shift lengths and days to meet patient care demands

Qualifications

Active Hawaii nursing license by start of assignment
BLS and ACLS certifications required
2-10 years of nursing experience preferred
Ability to work flexible night shifts and various shift lengths
Willingness to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with Meditech EMR and Pyxis systems
Proficiency with wound vacs and chest tubes
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to changing schedules and patient needs
