Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate psychiatric nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies to support recovery goals
- Educate patients and families on coping techniques and medication management
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license or compact license
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience
- Experience across adolescent, adult, and geriatric psych populations preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and therapeutic interventions
