Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
- Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
- Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT support team to maintain excellent patient ratios
- Float to sister telemetry units when needed, expanding your skills across Neuro Tele and other specialty floors
- Complete required SIMs Lab training and demonstrate sterile technique for Foley and central line care
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Strong EKG interpretation skills
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with up to two attempts
- Must have reliable transportation for travel teams

- Cardiac step-down and post-surgical patient care
- Cerner EMR documentation
- Philips telemetry monitoring
- Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
- Team collaboration in a fast-paced telemetry environment
