Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult patients on a busy 40-bed PCU unit
- Titrate cardiac and critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
- Interpret telemetry strips and manage arterial lines with confidence and precision
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
- Champion patient experience through clear communication and responsive care
Qualifications
- Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Competency managing arterial lines and titrating critical drips
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills and adaptability to changing patient needs
- Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
- Willingness to work every other weekend and at least two holidays during the contract

- Patient assessment across cardiac, vascular, renal, and respiratory diagnoses
