Location: Redwood City, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend coverage required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including ICU, med-surg, tele, and oncology
- Provide specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-cardiac surgery recovery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage diverse caseloads including ortho and total joint patients
- Support patients through their entire hospital journey from admission to discharge
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
- Experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills across multiple patient populations
- Ability to work independently with minimal orientation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfort working with complex cardiac and ICU patients
- Flexible and adaptable to varied daily schedules
