Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Carmichael, California
Start Date: 06-23-2026
End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts with call as needed, averaging 12 days per month including at least one weekend (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM), 30-minute response time
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in for cardiac and peripheral procedures including PCI and STEMI cases
- Assist cardiologists with all invasive cardiac procedures and peripheral interventions
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for diagnostic and interventional cases
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes to support emergent cases
Qualifications
- RCIS certification required
- BLS certification required
- 2 years of cath lab experience required
- Must have scrub experience for PCI and STEMI procedures
- Ability to scrub both cardiac and peripheral cases
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures
- Experience with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with 8 cases per day on average
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and quick response times
