Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to cardiovascular surgery patients
Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team throughout procedures
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety at every step

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular surgery nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiovascular surgery nursing protocols
Post-operative patient monitoring
Sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Patient education and family communication
Electronic medical record documentation
