Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, same schedule each week with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for a variety of procedures including cranial, orthopedic trauma, and total joint cases
Independently assist with neuro-trauma call and complex cranial procedures
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while supporting surgeons in 11 operating suites
Collaborate with a dynamic team handling 18 cases daily across orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neurosurgery
Utilize advanced technology including DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Ensure patient safety by speaking up and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred with proven scrubbing experience
Strong background in orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
Ability to independently perform cranial procedures and take neuro-trauma call
BLS certification required
Comfortable working with EPIC electronic medical records
Willingness to work flexible schedules and respond within 15 minutes for call

Knowledge & Skills

Expert scrubbing techniques for cranial and orthopedic trauma cases
Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Strong understanding of sterile processing and patient safety protocols
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
