End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs, with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, and med-surg units
Deliver specialized treatment for orthopedic and total joint patients
Manage therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU setting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Evaluate and treat a diverse patient population including cardiac surgery and oncology cases
Document care using Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in orthopedics and total joints
ICU and ventilator management experience preferred
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple hospital units
Orthopedic rehabilitation and total joint protocols
Ventilator management in ICU settings
Cerner electronic medical records system
Cardiac surgery patient rehabilitation
Oncology patient care experience
