Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs to catch changes early and keep patients safe
Titrate critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin with precision and confidence
Collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless bedside handoffs and coordinated care
Float to other telemetry units when needed, showcasing your adaptability and teamwork

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Confident with titrating cardiac and insulin drips
Comfortable with central line care and sterile technique
Cerner EMR experience a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-turnover unit
