Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, standby as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients across multiple med-tele units
Monitor vital signs and support patients with COPD, heart failure, post-surgical recovery, and more
Assist with PIV and foley removal while maintaining patient comfort and safety
Float between St. Joseph Medical Center and regional hospitals as needed to support excellent care delivery
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure smooth unit operations

Qualifications

Active CNA certification required
Experience with vital signs and med-tele level of care
Comfortable floating between multiple hospital sites in the region
COVID vaccine required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of med-tele patient care
Ability to adapt quickly to different hospital units and teams
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail when performing procedures like PIV and foley removal
