Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. Standard 30-min response time. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases across multiple specialties
Support cardiovascular procedures including CABGs, TCARS, and carotids
Assist with complex neurosurgical cases such as craniotomies and spinal procedures
Handle orthopedic trauma and total joint replacements using advanced robotic systems
Provide expert care during general, urology, and gynecology surgeries with the DaVinci robot
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support team needs
Precept new staff members and share your expertise with the unit

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate in all surgical specialties
Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems preferred
Strong cardiovascular circulating experience required
Excellent references and reliability are essential

Knowledge & Skills

Expert circulating skills across CV, neuro, ortho, and general cases
Comfort with DaVinci and Mako robotic platforms
Ability to respond quickly during on-call situations
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to float between nearby campuses
