Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and general procedures
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a 7-suite OR plus 2 endoscopy suites performing adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric cases
Support DaVinci robotic procedures and trauma cases in ER when needed
Float to pre/post-op and PACU areas when trained to maximize patient care continuity
Maintain strict safety standards and contribute to a culture where teamwork and education are celebrated

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in Neuro and all surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a facility without specialized teams so versatility across procedures is essential
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
Willingness to follow the facility's no-artificial-nails policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Flexibility to adapt to a varied daily surgical schedule
Strong teamwork and willingness to educate colleagues
Commitment to safety and longevity within a supportive department culture
