Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and respond to changing patient conditions with critical thinking
Collaborate with the care team to deliver excellent outcomes for cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetic patients
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed while maintaining high standards of care
Mentor and support colleagues with a positive attitude and strong communication skills

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
Safe drip titration and medication management
Continuous EEG monitoring experience
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
