Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases in the emergency department
Manage ventilator setups and deliver life-supporting treatments with precision and compassion
Support level 2 nursery patients using bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and older
Perform ABG draws, BiPAP setups, nebulizer treatments, and assist during conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures
Collaborate with a lead therapist on every shift and a 24/7 hospitalist team for seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong NICU experience with proven competence in bubble CPAP and level 2 nursery care
Ventilator management skills essential

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and setup
Bubble CPAP and level 2 nursery care
ABG draws and BiPAP administration
Neonatal resuscitation and pediatric emergency support
Equipment proficiency with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis
