Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry, surgical, and neuro patients
Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team
Support patients recovering from orthopedic, spinal, and general surgeries
Manage patients with respiratory conditions using BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to broaden your impact

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Background with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended for smooth onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry strip interpretation
Post-surgical patient care
Respiratory support equipment including BiPAP and CPAP
Electronic medical records with Cerner
Strong assessment and communication skills
