Location: St Johnsbury, Vermont

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week, includes every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients in the Med/Surg unit
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
- Collaborate with talented professionals to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population
- Utilize the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions
- Ensure holistic care addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
- Lead and support the care team under the guidance of the Unit Director and Clinical Nurse Lead
Qualifications
- Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to start
- At least 3 years of acute care experience
- Meditech experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to care for both adult and occasional pediatric patients
- Proficiency with the Nursing Process
- Comfortable working in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting
