Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead as charge nurse overseeing resident care and coordinating daily operations
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care and treatments following physician orders
Document care thoroughly in the Matrix EMR system
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality of life
Monitor and assess residents for changes in condition

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum 1+ year of long-term care experience
Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of LTC regulations and resident rights
Medication administration and wound care expertise
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records (Matrix experience a plus)
