Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night Shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours), no guaranteed hours.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide continuous airway management and life support for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
Manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices including PB 980, PB 840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent
Consult with physicians on respiratory care plans and respond to emergencies
Perform CPR and other resuscitation procedures as needed
Document patient care in Point Click EMR and manage medications via Pyxis

Qualifications

Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required prior to start
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience - no first-time travelers
BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
RRT and NRP certifications preferred
Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ventilator management (PB 980, PB 840, V60, Para Pac Transport Vent)
Strong airway management and CPR skills
Proficiency in computerized charting and medication management systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and patient assessment skills
