Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Location: Silverdale, Washington
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and one holiday per contract
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage ventilator and BiPAP setups for patients of all acuity levels
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret results
- Administer nebulizer treatments and conscious sedation
- Assist with intubations and cardioversion procedures
- Provide bubble CPAP and respiratory support for Level 2 NICU infants (32 weeks and up)
- Collaborate with the lead therapist and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications
- Active Washington Respiratory Therapist license (WA RT License required)
- RRT or CRT credential accepted – both welcome to apply
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong NICU experience including bubble CPAP competency
- Ventilator management skills (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in ventilator management, BiPAP, and CPAP
- Skilled in ABG draws, nebulizer treatments, and conscious sedation
- Knowledgeable in neonatal respiratory care for 32-week+ infants
- Comfortable assisting with intubations and cardioversion standby
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
